Bob Spanagel, Pastor of Administration

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Bob Spanagel began his career in the business world as an assistant trust officer in a sizeable Midwestern bank, and over the next 32 years he grew in his responsibilities as a trust officer, a financial consultant, and a bond portfolio manager finishing his business career in the financial services division of a large national bank in Colorado Springs. Bob and Peggy (his wife of 39 years) have lived in Colorado Springs since 1974 and have two adult children in the Springs as well. During his business career, Bob and his family spent a year in Cote D’Ivoire, West Africa as missionaries serving as dorm parents for children of missionaries throughout West Africa. In January of 2005, Bob was called to minister full time at his home church, Mesa Hills Bible Church, now as an Associate Pastor with primary responsibilities in church administration, facilities management, and Christian education.
