Sunday Morning Worship
We offer two services: 8:30 to 9:45 AM and 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM
We offer a number of different classes for adults and a unified curriculum for children. Sunday School classes are held from 10 to 10:45 AM.
Children ages 3 through the 8th grade are provided with a variety of opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth.
Home Fellowship Small Groups
There are six individual fellowship small groups that meet either twice monthly or once a month. A great way to get to know others through fellowship, prayer and a small study. The groups take a break in the summer.
Men have a variety of opportunities for both accountability and fellowship.
Ladies are encouraged to get involved in a number of different ways.
Prayer Meeting/Bible Study
On Wednesday night we are studying wisdom found in the book of Proverbs, chapter-by-chapter. We will be answering questions like – “How do I make wise choices? How do I handle peer pressure?” “How come not everyone knows what is wise?” Come join us every Wednesday evening from 7:00 – 8:30 pm for games, fellowship, snacks, and singing along with the study of God’s Word. There is ample opportunity to serve as we look forward to a missions trip each summer.
On Wednesday night we are studying the book of Romans. Come join us from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm for games, fellowship, snacks, and singing along with the study of God’s Word. There is ample opportunity to serve as we look forward to a missions trip each summer.
Mesa Mamas (a new MOPS group)
All moms welcome and also mentor moms with grown kids. Meets 2nd Tuesday of every month, 9 – 11 am at the Millers’ home.
Summer Evening Fellowship
On select Wednesday nights throughout the summer MHBC enjoys a “Summer Evening Fellowship.” A meal is served from 5:45 pm – 6:30 pm. A themed program is presented from 6:45 pm – 8:00 pm. Nursery is provided. The meal is $1 per person and $5 maximum per family. Please call the church for more details.
The Adult Choir seeks to glorify God through the ministry of music in worship. We rehearse every Thursday night from 7:00 pm – 8:30 PM, and sing in the Sunday morning worship services. The choir consists of adults ages 18 and older. If you have a heart from music and worship, we’d love for you to sing with us.
MHBC is actively involved in the community in a variety of ways. Three local ministries we support include the Springs Rescue Mission, the Colorado Springs Pregnancy Center and Life Network. We also offer and present various outreach projects to the church family throughout the year (participating in community events, door-to-door evangelism, local food banks, etc.).
A major distinction of Mesa Hills Bible Church is the emphasis on the ministry of missions, both home and foreign missions. Of all the contributions received by the church last year, over 25% was distributed to 38 missionary families serving in 12 countries around the world. Their work includes a variety of ministries such as church planting, prison work, literature distribution, an outreach to the military, Trans World radio, churches for the deaf, Bible translation and visitation evangelism.
